Important!:
Make sure to disable the Internet Explorer
Pop-up Blocker or logon attempts will be unsuccessful.
Steps:
To disable Internet Explorer Pop-Up Blocker
1.
On the Internet Explorer menu bar click Tools.
2.
Select Pop-up
Blocker
and click Turn off Pop-up Blocker.

1.
Click the
Run the Demo button

Type your username (for example: username@demodynamics.com) in the
User name: text box.

Type you password in the Password:
text box and then click the Log on button
to login to the CRM Server.

You can store information
about all of your business connections in Microsoft Dynamics CRM. A Lead

1. Click the Marketing bar.
2. Click Leads.
3. Click New.
4. Enter Topic, First Name, Last Name, Company Name, and Business Phone.
5. Click Administration tab.
6. Enter Preferred Contact Method.
7. Click Save and Close.
8. Double-click Lead.
9. Click Activities.
10. Click New Activity.
11. Select type of activity.
12. Click OK.
13. Enter information about the Activity.
14. Click Save and Close.
15. Click Convert Lead.
16. Click Account.
17. Click OK.
18. Click New.

21. Click Create Quick Campaign.
22. Select For All Records on Current Page.

Work with Accounts
Background:
You can store information about all of your business connections in Microsoft CRM. Accounts represent the organizations that you do business with and are associates with Contacts. You can add an Account to a Marketing List, and view any Campaigns associated with the Account.
Steps:
1. Click the Marketing bar.
2. Click Accounts.
3.
Click New.
4.
Enter information about the Account.
5.
Click Save.
6.
Click Activities.
7.
Click New Activity.
8.
Select type of Activity.
9.
Click OK.
10.
Enter information about the Activity.
11. Click Save and Close.
Background:
You can store information about all of your business connections in Microsoft CRM. A Contact is the person with whom you work to provide services or products for an Account. Contacts can be associated with Marketing Lists and Campaigns as well.
Steps:
1. Click the Marketing bar.
2. Click Contacts.
3.
Click New.
4.
Enter information about the Contact.
5.
Click Save.
6.
Click Activities.
7.
Click New Activity.
8.
Select type of Activity.
9.
Click OK.
10.
Enter information about the Activity.

button in the upper right-hand corner.
Background:
Opportunities can be created and tracked in Microsoft CRM. You can track potential revenue associated with open Opportunities and actual revenue associated with Opportunities that have been won.
Steps:
1. Click the Sales bar.
2. Click Opportunities.

Click New.

Enter Opportunity
Topic.

Click the Potential Customer Lookup button.

Click Account.

Click Account Name.

Enter information about the Opportunity.

Background:
In Microsoft CRM, you can create, edit, view and assign customer Quotes. Quotes are associated with product lines, price lists, and customers that you track and edit in Microsoft CRM. You can create Quote activities to assure completion of tasks and follow up for customers.
Steps:
1. Click the Sales bar.
2. Click Quotes.
3. Click New Quote.
4. Enter Name.
5. Click Potential Customer Lookup button.
6. Select Account.
7. Click Account.
8. Click OK.
9. Click the Price List Lookup button.
10. Click Price List.
11. Enter additional information about Quote.
12. Click Save.
13. Click Existing Products.
14. Click New Quote Product.
15. Click the Product Lookup button.
16. Select Product.
17. Click OK.
18. Click the Unit Lookup button.
19. Select Unit.
20. Click OK.
21. Enter additional information about Quote Product.
22. Click Save and Close.

Click New Activity.

Select type of Activity.
